If you’ve been putting off catching up your bookkeeping, it’s probably not because you don’t care. It’s because you have no real idea what it’s going to cost and what time-sucking hassles you’ll need to go through to get it handled.
Handing someone your tangled QuickBooks along with an open-ended invoice feels like a fast way to get a huge unexpected invoice.
That’s a fair worry. So let’s settle it before you commit to anything.
First, what we actually do: we take your QuickBooks Online and get it cleaned up, caught up, and back in order — accurate, current, and ready the moment you, your accountant, or the IRS come asking.
Now the part most firms gloss over. Nobody can give you an exact price on a clean-up without first getting inside your books. Anyone who quotes you a confident flat fee up front is guessing — and a guess always gets padded in their favor, not yours.
So we don’t guess. Here’s what we do instead.
Every project starts with a single 5-hour block of work. At the 4-hour-30-minute mark, we stop and walk you through exactly what we’ve found — and hand you a grounded estimate of how many hours the full job will take. You see the true scope before you we continue and you never “risk” more than 5-hours at a time.
From there, the decision is entirely yours. If the estimate makes sense, we continue five hours at a time until your books are finished. And if you’d rather take the reins back at any point, you can — no pressure, no penalty, and no being locked into a number nobody could have honestly promised at the start.
We work this way for one simple reason: with catch-up and clean-up, you can’t know the real size of the job until you’re inside it. Pricing it in honest, bite-sized blocks is the only way we’ve found to keep it fair for both sides — your risk stays small, and you stay in control the whole way through.
And your financial data stays protected throughout — we follow all IRS/FTC guidelines for its safety and security.
If that’s the kind of straight, no-surprises arrangement you’ve been looking for, book a call below and let’s talk through your books.
